7.1 Release

The following sections highlight updates for dataPARC version 7.1.

Trend

New features in Trend include:

• Improvements to the Tag Info Grid, including the ability to add a header row and an updated right-click menu on column headers.

• Limit Zones can be enabled for tags with limits. When enabled, the areas between the target and the upper and lower limit bounds are divided into three color-coded zones.

• SmartMouse Pins allow users to stick multiple SmartMouse windows to a Trend temporarily.

• Improvements to FFT make it easier to build FFT trends and to use them in MultiTrend displays.

Run Browser

Run Browser has been upgraded with a new Criteria Grid, several UI refinements, and a new Batch mode optimized for viewing batch-type data. See the tutorials for more instruction.

Alarm Configuration

Alarms can now trigger PARCtask workflow executions. The workflow can make use of the alarm event information. For example, when an alarm starts, a workflow that emails a list of recipients the alarm details along with an attachment of a display image could be triggered. Currently, Alarm Server does not support attachments while PARCtask does. See Alarm Configuration and PARCtask Workflow Designer for more information.
