PARCview Interactions

Checkbox

Click a checkbox to enable a certain option. This is used frequently in Properties windows.

Drop-down Menu

Click the arrow of a drop-down menu to see available options and click the desired property.

Hover for Tooltips

Move the mouse over fields or buttons without clicking to see tooltip text that describes the function.

 Radio Buttons

Radio buttons provide several options and only one option can be selected at a time.

Text Entry Fields

Text Entry Fields require typed text to specify certain properties. A common use is to specify names for new files or filepaths.

Tabbed Fields

Press the Tab key to advance to the next field in a grid.
