# Validate and Clean

This tool can be used to verify the integrity of tag binding and cleanup broken references. The tool automatically searches the graphic’s XAML for corruption. Click **Apply Changes** to fix orphaned or bad references.

**Apply Changes:** Attempt to fix orphaned or bad references.

**Search Display:** With an element’s row selected, choose this option to see how the changes affect the element’s binding on the Animation panel.

**Export to Clipboard:** Copy grid to clipboard.

**Save:** Apply the fixes to the XAML. This cannot be undone.

**Close:** Close the window.
