Article summary

PARCaggregate is a service that calculates daily, hourly, and/or minute data and plot-reduced data sets. PARCaggregate works with any source using a .NET data series, including: CTC, PI, PHD, and SQL sources, but PARCaggregate will only look at tags that exist in the ctc_processtags table. If the source is something other than CTC, this means PARCtagSync must be running for that source in order to make sure all tags from the source are processed.

The calculated files from PARCagggregate can be stored on a network share. Entire sources can be processed at once, or a specific set of tags can be defined for processing. The aggregated data can be viewed in Trends using the Time Type feature or using the /Plot, /Day, /Hour, and /Minute tag switches. PARCaggregate replaces the functionality of the legacy application PARChistory Average.
