Centerline

New features in Centerline include an overall Run Aggregate column and the ability to display a color map of values per tag.

Alarm Configuration

Alarm Config has several new features, including:

  • Default comments can now make use of parameters to include alarm event information.

  • Alarm event notification can now be suppressed based on alarm state and alarm acknowledgment status, or based on time since last notification.

  • The comment field for alarm events now accepts HTML formatting, including images.

  • Display links for alarms can now be accessed from the Edit Alarm window.

  • The Text Based alarm type will trigger alarms when tag values match configured text values.

Script Editor

The Script Editor has several new features, including:

  • Formulas can now be categorized by application type for easier management and searching. The available types are UTag, Data Entry (MDE), Asset, or Unspecified.

  • The new Formula Browser makes it easier to find existing formulas.

  • Formula arguments can now be configured to use ToolTips and a picklist of available values.

MDE

Manual Data Entry displays now support offline data entry. In the General Display settings, find the Enable Offline Mode property. If checked, the MDE will attempt to save data to the offline data location when connection to the server is lost. Click the ellipsis button to use the folder browser to select an offline data location. The default is the offline data folder in the current user’s AppData\Roaming folder. If the specified folder is invalid or not found, or if the current user does not have access, an error message will appear. In this case, MDE will attempt to use the default folder location instead.
