Grades

Grades are used throughout PARCview as the label for periods of time when a specific type of product was being made. Other names for “grade” include recipe, species, etc. Typically a tag in the process has a value that reflects what grade is being made at a certain time. This tag can also be calculated based on operating conditions, such as the rate of production.

Use the Grade Maintenance window to build and maintain PARCview’s grade list. First decide which grade types to use, then populate the grade names table, and then optionally create grade groups.
