Type of PortIO: Select the type of PortIO that needs to be configured.
OPC: A PortIO that works as an OPCDA Client. This connects to an OPCDA server and collects data from points on the server.
File: A PortIO that is configured to automatically read the contents of a file and make that data/text string available to parse in the custom code and write to tags.
Serial: A PortIO that is configured to receive data over a serial connection and make that data/text string available to parse in the custom code and write to tags.
Socket: A PortIO that is configured to receive data over a socket connection and make that data/text string available to parse in the custom code and write to tags.
Files Written to: Location that PortIO will write out data files. This is the location that either PortIOFileCopy should look for files to copy to the server or should match the DataPath for a source so PARChistory can read in the exception files and write them to history.
Local PortIO folder: Path of the local PortIO folder, where logfiles and additional folders may be created.
Configured to Run on: Last PC the PortIO configuration was saved on, normally the PC the PortIO runs on.
Command Line for Shortcut: Initial command lines that should be added to FireDeamon when configuring the PortIO to run as a service.
