This information is specific to the latest release of PARCview:
7.2.x
PARCMobile is an application that allows users to view PARCView trends and graphics through a web browser. A website and an application called PARCMobileHost make up PARCMobile. Browsers request PARCView screens from the web site, the site passes the request to PARCMobileHost which is responsible for rendering images of screens and passing rendered images back to the web site which finally sends images to the browser. Older 5.x PARCMobile installs would keep PARCMobileHosts running as Windows applications running as services. In the 7.x PARCMobile the Internet Information Services is responsible for managing the installation and configuration.
