This information is specific to the latest release of PARCview:
7.2.x
Manual Data Entry (MDE) sheets allow for saving of various discrete data such as quality tests, safety information, lab tests, etc. to the PARCview database, so they can be trended or used in other displays. The timestamps for each new entry can come from the user, a time schedule, a tag, or a SQL source. The format is similar to entering data into an Excel spreadsheet, but MDE has a much more compact interface that is optimized for data entry, and it has many features for tracking data entry, such as an audit trail, entry comments. Basic scripting of calculated tags within an MDE as well as read-only options for non-MDE tags are also available.
PARCSecurity Permissions
PARCsecurity Console contains robust MDE Rights. Below is a summary of the rights available for MDEs.
