Launch PARCview

When PARCview is installed, a desktop shortcut to open the application is created. The PARCview application icon is a blue circle containing the letter “P”.

To open PARCview, double-click the desktop shortcut. If there is no shortcut, search Windows for “PARCview”.

The splash screen displays the version number, as well as which dataPARC plug-ins are licensed for use.

Note: the splash screen will stay on top of other windows, but can be minimized for convenience.

If this is the first time PARCview has launched after updating, it may prompt users to learn about new features. Click Yes to view the What’s New section of the help manual, or click No to close the prompt. Check “Hide this dialog in the future” before choosing either option to disable the notification. This option can be re-enabled from Client Configuration.
