Hierarchy of Applications

PARCserver applications are dependent on SQL Server to function, and many are dependent on other PARCserver applications. These applications must be running on the same computer/server for these relationships to apply. PARCview must be installed on any machine running the PARCserver applications as well. This is the hierarchy:

*PARCrollup server is dependent on both PARCcalc Server and the CTCNETHDA Console.

PortIOs for services other than CTCcalcs as well as PortIO File Copy have no dependencies other than SQL Server. This means that data collection with PortIO can be run on a separate server from other dataPARC applications if desired.
