FireDaemon is a utility that allows applications to run as Windows services. This means they will continue to run in the background even if users log off the server, and they do not require user intervention once enabled.
The applications are normally run from Session 0. This can be accessed through Interactive Services Detection or with the Session0 button in FireDaemon.
The applications can also be run directly on the main session on a temporary basis for testing purposes. Server applications should not be run from multiple sessions at the same time. PARCcalc Server, PARCalarm Server, and PARCtask PARCview Host may have multiple instances running, but each one must be properly configured.
